Our third POCKET FUSE on 10 May 2025 will be a GROWING POWER JUSTICE WORKSHOP led by Blue Weiss and Victor Anderson. The event will be hosted by Golders Green Unitarians.
Blue Weiss is a lead organizer for Citizens UK, which campaigns for social justice. In London and the Southeast Citizens UK has welcomed and resettled refugees, Improved housing in several communities, successfully negotiated with TfL to secure improved transport and safety, supported many local employers in becoming accredited real Living Wage employers, paying their staff the London Living Wage. Blue will engage the issues of injustice and how to create change on the things you care about in your local community.
Victor Anderson is a professor and lecturer, policy maker, parliamentary researcher, economist, Brighton Unitarian, and VP of the Unitarian Justice network. Victor will offer a session on helping us make our voices heard, on parliamentary processes, and the stages a bill goes through, and how to write a Parliamentary Question.
