Welcome
This is the home of the Unitarians in London and the South East formally known as the London District and Provincial Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches or the LDPA for short. We provide pastoral care and practical support for 25 Unitarian congregations in this district.
Is Buddhism a Religion or a Way of Life?
Our next Pocket FUSE on 2nd August is to be held at Kensington Unitarian Church. As a non-theistic faith with no god or deity to worship, some scholars describe Buddhism as a philosophy or a moral code rather than an organised religion. The Buddhist Society of London present an introduction to Buddhism and the essentials of the quiet sitting practice (zazen). Participants are helped to discover for themselves how to practice meditation in their ordinary day-to-day lives.
