And all manner of things will be well
Meditations on the life and work of Julian of Norwich
Led by Kate Mckenna
Cost £10.00 or by donation
An afternoon of meditations which take as their starting point the life and work of Julian of Norwich, the fourteenth century mystic. Julian was one of the most creative and radical Christian mystics of her time, and perhaps of all time. In Revelations of Divine Love she describes her visions of an infinitely compassionate and nurturing God, encapsulating both male and female energies. Her positivity and love was deeply informed by her life of prayer.
We will explore Julian’s teachings and visions, and ask what a fourteenth century anchorite can possibly have to say to busy twenty-first century religious liberals.
